Why do i see the ground while trying to use a 4500 meade telescope?

You have probably mounted your telescope backwards. Reflector telescopes are designed so that the open end of the tube (with the eyepiece holder) points towards the sky while the closed end (with the main mirror) points towards the ground. Re-read the instruction manual and make sure the telescope is assembled the way it shows.
