Charter cable problem from update?

my charter cable is having problems i need help cause the box keeps on rebooting all by its self and none of the things r working the remote isnt workng at all if you press any button the system reboots again then brings you to charter on demand when you scroll down it doesnt let u select anything if u press back to tv it isnt letting you change any channel i took out the plug of the cable and put it back in and it still didnt work ..............help
