Thinking of trying to get to Fort Meade, Maryland. What is the economy like there?

I don't quite understand what your trying to do, so i'll just say this. I went to fort meade 3/16/11 - 3/17/11 to MEPS to enlist into the Navy. Fort Meade, the area is nice. Taxes on things here in MD is 6 cents every dollar. Gas prices are about the same as everywhere else in america right now. Lowest i've seen lastly is about $3.85 highest about $4.11. Since I am 18, and in no need for one right now I do not know how much homes cost in the area check out some ads on homes in the area.
