About mounting DSLRs to telescopes...?

I would like to mount my Sony NEX-3 to a Meade 60mm (700mm focal) long-tube refractor. Essentially, I already have this, it cost me a great deal, and I'd rather not triple it by putting out $1100 for a 200-500mm lens and NEX adaptor to use for astrophotography when I have a perfectly good telescope lying about. So apparently telescopes have what's called a t-mount? And it would appear as if I have to adapt the NEX to this t-mount somehow. Anyone know of something to do this with, or could point me to a product site?
