What CCD camera should I buy for my astronomy project?

My colleges have used Apogee or Finger Lakes CCDs, both of which work well with MaximDL. But I'm not sure if you can get one for that low of a price from them; if you can find one in that range, you might have to go for it. I haven't used the Meade one. Not sure what kind of telescope you're attaching this to, but the filter wheel is typically part of the telescope itself.
