Suggest the best,simple & free remote sharing software.?

I have given my old pc to my younger brother,So i need to handle his pc as he is just a beginner in pc maintainance. therefor i need a simplist remote sharing software,similar to the xp's own remote. but unfortunately its rebooting whenever i am trying to enable it on my old pc.
