Diet pills, bad idea or good?

I am 20 years of age, 5ft tall. I work-out almost everyday (Insanity, running, and weights). I diet so well (chicken salads, eggs, and fruit), however, I usually drink liquor drinks on the weekend but I still do not break for junk food. I will maybe lose up to 4 Ibs when I am on a strict schedule but struggle to go beyond it. I feel that the hard work is not even worth it but I want to get to my goal. If I take a diet pill such as Oxylite or Solo slim until I lose the desired weight and then quit, can I keep it off? I know diet pills can change your heart rate, therefor messing with the metabolism so will I be able to keep my diet pill body with a work out schedule and decent diet after? Answers are greatly appreciated!! :)
